Director of Sales - intyde

JOB DESCRIPTION: As the Director of Sales you are responsible for providing strategic leadership for the sales team by developing and executing company sales plans, identifying emerging gaps or opportunities in the marketplace, and implementing new sales ideas and tools for the company. You will also provide direction and planning for the sales department and secure contracts with new customers, as well as manage ongoing contracts and quotes. Additionally, you are a leader in the execution of the vision and mission of the company and a co-champion of workplace core-values. You will report directly to intyde’s General Manager.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Possess the ability to develop good relationships by ‘wowing’ clients; creating raving fans through the development of relationships and providing exceptional experiences, both internally and externally

  • Lead planning and execution of strategies to increase sales and company growth.

  • Identifies business opportunities and sells products by establishing and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions.

  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.

  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

  • Oversee all budgeting for projects and sales team.

  • Utilize a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data.

  • Lead weekly sales meetings via in person, phone or Skype.

  • Lead sales team by providing inspiring leadership, evaluating and encouraging maximum performance and dedication. 

  • Manage sales team by providing accountability for achieving sales targets and following company procedures and systems.

  • Communicate and coordinate with Project Manager to procure contracted crew for necessary jobs, making sure to provide all necessary info to effectively and efficiently hire. 

  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and CRM reports to GM weekly and as requested.

  • Prepares forecast reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

  • Follow intyde systems and processes for optimal scalability and efficiency.

  • Flexibility to travel both locally and nationally.

  • Maintain professional and technical industry knowledge and competitive advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous sales experience & management required

  • 2 years of sales experience in the AVL industry

  • Great working knowledge of AVL equipment used in integrations 

  • Established book of trusted relationships

  • CTS certification preferred

  • Previous experience managing and developing a CRM.

  • Proven experience in customer relationship management.

  • Proven leadership and people management skills. 

  • Experience in all aspects of planning, implementing, and meeting sales strategies & goals – personally and leading, coaching and motivating a sales team in strategy and goal achievement.

  • Skills in customer service, negotiation and conflict resolution, and presentation skills. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
